Here's a drawing of my genderbent version of Smoke Elite from the video game Rainbow 6 Siege, first time painting with black and white values and my process of it.

I wanted to try and paint this by using values rather than using individual colours, as I've learnt it helps save a lot of time. Here's a black and white render of my sketch from earlier, using the watercolour and blending brushes to focus on values.

I made a new layer and multiplied it on top of the black and white render, which resulted in something like this. It looks great!

I added a background to it.

Added some smoke effects and my favourite halftones, as well as some colour overlays to make the painting cohesive, I finalised the drawing.
